engaging way to stay in shape whilst also learning to play golf.  Its also a great way to make new friends who you can continue playing golf with long

after the program ends!

 
Golf: A Fun and Effective Workout

Most people don’t think of golf as a workout, but the numbers tell a different story:

–  Burn up to 600 calories in a single game of golf.

–  Walking 9 holes easily covers 5,000 steps—without even realizing it!

–  Playing 18 holes can burn a whopping 1,400 calories—more than an hour on a treadmill.

–  Improve balance, strength, and flexibility while learning a new skill.

 

Golf is a low-impact, joint-friendly way to stay fit. Whether you’re new to the sport or looking for a fresh challenge, this program will help you move

more, feel better, and have fun doing it.

 
 
How “Fit For Golf” Works 

We’ve designed this program to run every other Monday with 1 hours sessions, starting at 6pm on February 24th, 2025, and finishing on April 21st,

2025—Giving everyone chance to calm down from The Masters.

 
What to Expect: 

Fun group sessions: Learn stretches and strength movements to improve your golf skills with PGA Professional coaching.

–  Easy-to-follow fitness drills: Improve flexibility, strength, and endurance with the use of a resistance band.

– PGA Golf Professional Coaching to help improve your golf technique.

Social and supportive atmosphere: Get fit while meeting like-minded people

– Progress tracking: Each session builds on the last, helping you develop skills and fitness over time.

 

Session Breakdown:

Session 1 (Feb 24): Introduction to Golf Fitness – Warm-ups, posture, and Short Swings.

Session 2 (March 10): Swinging Freely – Swing mechanics and Mobility.

Session 3 (March 24): Balance & Core Stability – Chipping, Putting, and Balance

Session 4 (April 7): Building Power – Strength and Long Game.

Session 5 (April 21): Final Masterclass – Fun challenges, and a Chance to Win!

 

Remember No prior golf experience needed! Our sessions are designed for all fitness levels and skill sets.
