We recently completed a drainage project on our 5th hole!

We’ve installed a new drain running across the fairway in the area that tends to collect water at the top of the hill.  This spot was a priority because it’s difficult to access in winter, and as it’s part of the machine route to the 4th green so we need easy access to cut!  The area also becomes muddy and slippery for golfers, so this improvement will make it safer to pass.

For this project, we had an external helping hand from Pete (the digger expert) and Vinnie (the buggy driving expert) but completed the rest ourselves with the BLGC team. Check out the short video below to see the five stages we undertook to complete this upgrade!
