Our PGA Qualified Professional James has been involved in golf from a young age and played golf to a high standard.

Fully qualified since 2014 James has a wide experience in teaching all ages and abilities.  Regularly hosting beginner, adult classes and junior classes, James’ drive is introducing new people to the game of golf.  His philosophy in coaching is:

Individual coaching

James offers a number of options to help your golf, depending on your need. There is the option for a single lesson, in-depth swing analysis, and a lesson package that consists of 5 lessons. 

The Individual lesson options will include a video analysis of your swing, furthering to an explanation as to how that creates your current ball flight. After this you will be given drills to help your golf swing, and dependant on your practice time available, be given a plan to progress with your swing either at the range or at home.

£22.50 – 30 minute Golf Lesson                                         £45 – In-depth 60 minute Swing Analysis

The Lesson Package option is a flexible package designed to get the most for your golfing needs. The sessions can be spread across different areas of the game, i.e Swing, Putting, Chipping, Driving, Approach play, or just simply put towards time working on your full swing. The sessions will be booked one after the other so you have plenty of time to practice in-between.

£90 – 5 Golf Lessons (30minute sessions)

Junior Coaching

James leads our Junior Coaching programme where your child can come and learn to play golf in a fun, relaxed, games-based environment with a Class AA PGA Qualified Professional.  Taking place every Saturday we have Under 10’s from 10am – 11am, Girls 11am – 12pm and  Over 10’s from 12:30pm.  The cost is £5 per child and you need to book by emailing james@barlboroughlinksgolfclub.co.uk.  This is a fully coached session so you can drop off/collect your child.  Please be prompt for both.
