NIGHT GOLF
Our annual night golf event on Sunday 8th October 2023 was once again a huge success.
Guided only by the power of glow sticks, our teams navigated a 7 hole course with their glow in the dark balls! With an improved lighting system (over 100 glow sticks) lighting up the course, and a mild evening weather-wise, we were on for a fun night. A shotgun start with everyone starting on a different hole, means that everyone is generally finished within an hour and a half – back home with a brew or a beer by half nine!.
Feedback is positive with the only bugbear from most players being the quality of the night golf ball which everyone sourced themselves. We understand the large online marketplace balls aren’t the best, so we are looking into sourcing a ball with a glow stick insert that will stay lit for the duration of the game, however the downside with this is that you can only use irons to play.
All in all, a good night with lots of lost balls but lot of laughs and some of you play better at night than you do in the day.
