Come and try golf for FREE!
Your PGA Qualified Golf Professionals, James and Bex are holding some FREE junior coached sessions so kids who are resident in Barlborough and Clowne can come for a FREE taster session here at Barlborough Links Golf Club!
We are an HSBC Golf Roots Centre, looking to engage the local youth community and show them the physical and mental health benefits of golf and are delighted to offer this opportunity on the following dates:
- Sunday 21st August 1pm
- Tuesday 23rd August 5pm
- Wednesday 24th August 1:30pm
- Thursday 25th August 1:30pm
- Friday 2nd September 1:30pm
- Saturday 3rd September 3pm
These 40 minute sessions will introduce kids to the basic techniques of golf in a relaxed, fun environment using games based learning.

There are a maximum of 8 places available per session. Parents/guardians will need to complete a parental consent form on arrival – please note this is open to children resident in Barlborough and Clowne only and you will need to provide your home address.
No equipment needed – just wear comfortable clothing and trainers and bring a positive attitude. The sessions will take place whatever the weather.
