Saturday 6th September saw the return of the Martin Bembridge Memorial Shield, a special day where our community comes together to celebrate Martin’s memory, enjoy some competitive golf, and raise funds for Sheffield Wednesday Community Foundation, which was chosen by Martin’s son Harry. On the day we managed to raise £150 for the foundation which Andy made sure was well away from any involvement with the actual Sheffield Wednesday finance situation!
We were blessed with a fantastic turnout and some superb scoring across the board. A huge thank you to everyone who entered and supported the event – your involvement makes this day so meaningful.
