To continue delivering the course quality, facilities, and service that you value, we will be making some small adjustments to our pricing from April 2026. This will allow us to:
- continue our priority investment in the course and greens to meet our vision of being the best 9-hole course in the area
- Keep investing in our community offering employment to local people (we currently employ 15 staff who all live within a 5 mile radius)
- Incrementally improving our equipment and machinery replacing the old with better, more cost effective solutions
- invest in new additions to our current offering, including our planned pitch & putt course and North Derbyshire Golf Academy
- Promote our wonderful sport and the many benefits that golf has
2025 saw us purchase:
- a hand mower to get to tees and greens during Winter when we can’t get the large mowers around the course
- a mini-digger to enable in-house repairs around the course and easier moving of aggregates (hand-balling hardcore is hard work!!)
- the installation of solar panels,
- replacement of the old blue cabin with a new-to-us office/toilet (much nicer!) and storage container
A total investment of £42K.
In 2026, we plan to:
- Launch North Derbyshire Golf Academy
- Develop a pitch & putt course (ground conditions dependant)
- Upgrade the car park entrance
- Install additional driving range bays (ground conditions dependant)

- Unlimited Monday – Friday golf
- Monday competition entry included (£2.50 entry fee)
- PAYG lowest Affiliate rate for weekend golf and Saturday competition entry (plus £2.50 comp entry fee)
- 8 days booking privileges
- ‘Full Member Only’ start times from 07:30am (course opens to affiliate members and visitors at 8am)
- Members guest rate = lowest affiliate rate for 9/18 holes respectively
- Add WHS membership for just £25 extra (held at 2025 price)
- BLGC course handicap (hand in 2 x BLGC 9 hole scorecards)
- Member rates on driving range, FootGolf and coffee shop

Is Full Membership for me?
That all depends on how often you play. Heres guidance on where a membership could be the better option for you…
- 5 Day: If you play 1 x 18 hole round (or 2 x 9-hole rounds) per week Monday to Friday over 30 times you are better off joining our 5 Day membership.
- 7 Day: If you play 1 x 18 hole round (or 2 x 9 hole rounds) per week at weekends over 33 times you are better of joining our 5 Day membership.
- Juniors: If you play 1 x 18 hole round (or 2 x 9 hole rounds) per week at weekends over 10 times, you are better off joining our Junior membership.
Obviously if you play more than this, you will see greater benefits to your membership and save even more money.
